Well if you have a foodie on your list\u2026 I\u2019ve got you covered!<\/p>\n<p>Next Saturday (December 17th) is my annual <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kathycasey.com\/where_to_catch.html\">Holiday Extravaganza<\/a><\/strong>! I\u2019m opening the doors once again to my Food Studios in Ballard from 11:00 am &#8211; 7:00 pm. There&#8217;ll be samples to try and goodies to buy!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have all sorts of things to nibble on from tasty bites from my book <em>Sips &amp; Apps<\/em> to samples of Dish D\u2019Lish<sup>\u00ae <\/sup>Egg Nog and Liquid Kitchen<sup>\u2122<\/sup> 5130 Honey to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have loads of tasty treats ready to stuff your favorite foodie\u2019s stocking, including my ever popular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kathycasey.com\/shop_fruitcake.html\"><strong>\u201cOver 21\u201d Real Fruit Cakes made with Maker\u2019s Mark<\/strong><\/a>! These plump little loaves are full of Maker\u2019s Mark soaked dried fruits and\u00a0 toasted nuts, baked till golden then finished with bourbon glaze. This is not your mom\u2019s fruitcakes! And let me tell you they go fast!<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019ll be plenty to buy, from our Spiced Apple Cakes and Chocolate Peppermint Ho Hos and all our various Dish D\u2019Lish specialty products: seasoning salts, Cocktailor<sup>\u2122<\/sup> cocktail mixers and limited-edition preserves including Raspberry Wine Jelly, Strawberry Lavender Jam and so much more!<\/p>\n<p>From our Liquid Kitchen<sup> <\/sup>barware and products to more d\u2019lish goodies like our Jingle Bell \u201cCheese Balls\u201d spiked with Remy Martin Cognac, Gingerbread Stars and homemade candies, we\u2019ll have all sorts of tasty treats for all your favorite foodies.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll also be signing copies of my books throughout the day. Special guest and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/FranticFoodie\">Frantic Foodie<\/a> Keren Brown will be there from 1:00 \u2013 3:00 pm signing copies of her newest book <em>Food Lover\u2019s Guide to Seattle<\/em>. We will also be featuring other cool, specialty handmade gifts from our crafty friends such as jewelry maker (and food writer) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/CodyBay\">Cody Ellerd Bay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So mark your calendars for my Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 11am-7pm.
