Soon, all the candy will be unwrapped and the eggs will all have been found \u2013 hopefully! Now, what do you do with all those chocolate bunnies, candies, Peeps and colorful hard boiled eggs after the hunt?<\/p>\n<p>Didn\u2019t eat all those marshmallow Peeps? Don&#8217;t fret about any leftovers \u2013 they are just the thing to melt into my <strong>Jelly-Bean Rice Crispy Tweeps<\/strong>. The Peeps stand in for the traditional marshmallows folded with Rice Krispies cereal. Rip the peeps tiny heads off and save for \u201cgarnish!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2916\/13914385683_f1bf1389f8_q.jpg\" alt=\"Tweeps\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 150px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 150\/150;\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Peep heads for garnish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the adults, grab a few of the kids chocolate bunnies and stir yourself up some <strong>Bunny\u2019Licious Chocolate Mocha Fondue<\/strong> using a splash of your favorite liqueur \u2013 I like to use Grand Marnier. Make deviled eggs of course! And get creative with the fillings, from brunchy <strong>Bacon Cheddar<\/strong> to Retro Shrimp Cocktail variations. For more deviled eggs ideas, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dlishdeviledeggs.com\/\">www.DLishDeviledEggs.com<\/a> and follow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/ChickysTweets\">@ChickysTweets<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Happy Easter everyone! \u2013Kathy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jelly Bean Rice Crispy Tweeps<\/strong><br \/>\nMakes 30 treats<\/p>\n<p>3 Tbsp. butter<br \/>\n6 packages yellow Peeps\u00ae  &#8211; 30 peeps(you can use bunnies too for pink treats)<br \/>\n6 cups Rice Krispies\u00ae cereal<br \/>\n1 cup small jellybeans<\/p>\n<p>Pull 30 of the peeps heads off and set aside for garnish.<\/p>\n<p>In a large sauce pan heat butter over low heat melt the butter until melted. Then add peeps and stir over low heat until melted. Then stir in rice crispies and jelly beans. Stir until cereal is well coated and jellybeans are distributed.<\/p>\n<p>Place mixture in a pan sprayed 8\u201dx8\u201d baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to compact the crispy treats. Let set for at least 15 minutes before serving. To serve cut (5&#215;6) into 30 squares.<\/p>\n<p>Recipe by Kathy Casey Food Studios\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bunny\u2019licious Chocolate Mocha Fondue<\/strong><br \/>\nMakes 4 servings<\/p>\n<p>6 ounces of left-over chocolate bunnies<br \/>\n1\/4 cup hot, strong brewed coffee<br \/>\n1 tablespoon liquor such as: Grand Marnier, amaretto or Frangelico liqueur (optional)<br \/>\nFor dipping: fresh fruit for dipping cut into chunks, such as: pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, apple wedges and oranges<br \/>\nOther fun things for dipping are: pound cake chunks, holiday cookies, small chocolate chip cookies, other candy such as Peeps\u00ae \u2026..<\/p>\n<p>Break up or cut bunnies in small pieces (chocolate chip size)  into a  glass or ceramic bowl and pour hot coffee over them. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. If coffee is not hot enough to melt chocolate, then microwave for 10 seconds. These all-American eggs are great to serve as an app or a fun salad garnish\u2014or grab a couple for breakfast on the go.<\/p>\n<p>Makes 24<\/p>\n<p>1 dozen hard-cooked eggs (recipe follows)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Filling<\/span><br \/>\n3 Tbsp mayonnaise<br \/>\n3 Tbsp\u00a0sour cream<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)<br \/>\n1 tsp minced fresh garlic<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper<br \/>\n1\/3 cup finely grated sharp cheddar cheese<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Topping<\/span><br \/>\n1\/4 cup finely chopped crisp-cooked bacon<br \/>\n2 Tbsp\u00a0very thinly sliced green onion<br \/>\nFreshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>Halve the eggs lengthwise and transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl. Set the egg white halves on a platter, cover, and refrigerate.<\/p>\n<p>With a fork, mash the yolks to a smooth consistency. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, if using, garlic, salt, and pepper, and mix until smooth. (You can also do this in a mixing bowl with a whip attachment.) Stir in the cheddar until evenly mixed in.<\/p>\n<p>Spoon the mixture into a pastry bag fitted with a large plain tip, then pipe the mixture evenly into the egg white halves. Or fill the eggs with a spoon, dividing the filling evenly.<\/p>\n<p>To make the topping, in a small bowl, mix the bacon and green onion. Top each egg half with about 3\/4 teaspoon of the mixture, and then sprinkle with black pepper.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Hard-Cooked Eggs<\/span><br \/>\n1 dozen large chicken eggs<\/p>\n<p>Place the eggs in a large nonreactive saucepan and add cold water to 1 inch above the eggs. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn off the heat and let the eggs sit for 10 minutes. Remove from the stove and run cool water over the eggs in the pan until they are cooled.
